Terms of use

SiteWatch is a service of KasiryeLabs, Kampala, Uganda.

The service

SiteWatch checks websites you add at the interval of your plan and tells you by email (and SMS on plans that include it) when they stop responding or come back, and when their domain or SSL certificate is about to expire. Checks run from Cloudflare’s network; a website can occasionally look down to us but not to some visitors, or the other way round.

Your account

Only add websites you own or manage. Don’t use SiteWatch to put load on websites, test them without permission, or for anything unlawful. We may pause accounts that do.

Plans and payment

The Free plan is free. Paid plans are paid in advance, monthly or yearly, through Pesapal. Renewing early adds the time on. If a paid plan isn’t renewed, the account moves to the Free plan a few days after it ends; extra websites are paused, not deleted. Payments aren’t refunded for unused time, except where the law requires it.

No guarantee

We work hard to keep SiteWatch running, but we can’t promise that every outage will be detected or every alert delivered (for example if an email provider or mobile network delays it). SiteWatch is not responsible for losses caused by a website being down. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes and ending

You can stop using SiteWatch and remove your websites at any time. We may change these terms or prices; changes to prices apply from your next renewal, and we’ll tell you by email first.
